If you ask anyone where to go view the northern lights, they will tell you to drive up Skyline Drive. The view is so beautiful. From the kitchen window, you can see all of Anchorage, the ocean, the Matanuska River, and several mountains, including the Sleeping Lady, and all of that, from this lower unit apartment. It is located up the mountain, which means you may need 4 wheel drive, if it is icy in the winter. The unit itself has one bedroom, with a king size bed. There is cable with 2 flat screen TV's, and WiFi. The living room is comfortable, with two recliners and a sofa. We have a queen size blow up, a twin bed, and a portable crib in storage for our guests to use if necessary. The bathroom has a relaxing double ended claw foot tub, (two people can sit in the tub together) as well as, a separate shower.
